TEAM TOYOTA DONATES TRUCK TO BATON ROUGE GREEN

Baton Rouge, LA – May 18, 2015 – In dire need of a new work truck, Baton Rouge Green had its wishes come true when one if its most loyal and generous supporters, The Team Automotive Group, donated a sparkling nearly-new Toyota Tundra to help the organization continue its work across the greater Baton Rouge area.

“The Team Automotive Group has been proud to be a partner with Baton Rouge Green for years, and we are very excited to further our relationship with this new partnership”, says Preston Q=Petersen, GM of the Team Automotive Group.  “Like Baton Rouge Green, the Team Automotive Group is deeply rooted in Baton Rouge, serving the city and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. We are invested in our community and care about the city’s development as it continues to expand and grow. By teaming up with Baton Rouge Green in an even bigger role, this gives us another avenue to contribute to the growth and advancement of Baton Rouge, maintaining the beauty of our area and planting trees to continue emphasizing the importance of this community resource.”

Baton Rouge Green Executive Director, Diane Losavio, explained, “Our staff will use this beautiful truck every day to transport planting materials, tools, and people to all of our sites around the greater Baton Rouge area. This donation not only provides an important asset to the organization, but allows other donated funds to be used for our operations and programming, rather than for the purchase of a truck.”
