Team Toyota Gives Back to Local Baton Rouge Charities

This August, Team Toyota was proud to give back to the community that we love most- Baton Rouge, Louisiana! Team Toyota has made generous donations to three different Baton Rouge charities this month as part of our continuing effort to say thank you to our local market. This month, we have made contributions to three great causes-the McMains Children’s Developmental Center’s Wheels to Succeed Program, Baton Rouge Cardinals Youth Organization, and also returned with our annual Team Automotive Scholarship program.

2015 Team Automotive Annual Scholarship

Team Toyota is also pleased to announce Morgan Efferson as our 2015 Team Automotive Scholarship winner!

Morgan is the daughter of Shaun Efferson, finance manager at Team Toyota. Morgan is a freshman at LSU who plans to study Cardiopulmonary Science and competes on the LSU equestrian team. After college she is planning on pursuing a career in pre-natal sonogram screening. We look forward to seeing the accomplishments Morgan has set for herself.

Wheels to Succeed

On behalf of all of our participants, Team Toyota has made a donation to Wheels to Succeed program with the McMains Children’s Developmental Center in Baton Rouge. The money donated will be used to build special bicycles for special needs children.

Baton Rouge Cardinals Youth Organization

Team Toyota is also making a donation this month to the Baton Rouge Cardinals Youth Organization on behalf of Andre Morrison. Andre has been with Team Honda for over 15 years and currently acts as the Team Honda detail manager and Baton Rouge Cardinals head football coach. We are extremely proud of what Andre has accomplished on and off the field. He has become an inspirational coach, mentor, pastor and father figure for hundreds of children who look up to him in the Baton RougeCardinals Youth Organization. Andre is a shining example of the true leadership, dedication, and service we promote here at Team Toyota.

In addition, Team Toyota would like to thank all of our customers and staff who help make donations to these Baton Rouge charities possible. We couldn’t have done it without you!
