Supporting the Community

The flood of August 2016 inundated the shelter with water which left it in ruins. Team Toyota in Baton Rouge wants to be a part of the recovery effort by bringing awareness of this cause to our loyal customers. The sponsorship program for the Denham Springs Animal Shelter includes hosting one adoption event a month. It also provides customers who purchase a new Toyota or used car the option to include a $5 donation. At the end of the month, Team Toyota will match the donations up to an amount of $500. This sponsorship allows the dealership and the community to participate in the efforts to help stray and unwanted animals.

Pet Adoption Saturdays at Team Toyota

Team Toyota held the first adoption event on Saturday, April 8th at 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It was a huge success for the shelter and the dealership. Most customers, as well as the Team employees could not resist the temptation to pet one of the adorable dogs available for adoption. All the dogs received a special treat, a toy and a lot of attention throughout the day. The animal shelter received food and toy donations as well.
